A READING

29th August 6:00pm John Kirby Abraham speaks about his new book Paris Made Me... Born in the shadow of Windsor Castle in Great Britain, John left England for the Mediterranean in search of the sun. Adventures in several capitals allowed him to meet other expatriates who crossed deserts and mountains to observe conflicts, culture and decolonisation. His artwork, photography and theatrical presence left their mark in several cities until he ended up as a radio-television journalist and presenter for French media. Paris Made Me... offers an objective view of European evolution as seen from the perspective of an English expatriate in France. AT: Shakespeare & Co., 37 rue de la Bûcherie, Paris 5ème. LIST HELP NEEDED: Jen Dick is SEEKING A RENTREE LIST BLOGGER I should mention that this is the last listing I plan on doing for awhile, as I am moving for a bit to Mulhouse. Therefore I hope to find someone or some people as a group who will keep this up while I am away. If you are a blogger and can easily deal with getting this list up, please do contact me by email and we can get you ready for the rentrée. Thanks! It has been a real gift to be of service to the Paris writing community, and I hope that the things here and elsewhere that I have been involved in will keep going and growing while I am in Alsace!
